Archery Elk - The states and units we hunt in consistently produce many of the largest bulls harvested. Typically our early season elk hunts are excellent with lots of rutting activity. Typically these hunts will take place in the peak of the rut.
Muzzleload Elk - This hunt is also a great hunt as the rut peaks out the last week of September to the first week of October
Early Rifle Bull - This is the best hunt to harvest big bulls as it is also during the peak of the rut and with the advantage of using high powered rifles, dramatically increases the odds for harvesting a huge ball.
Late Rifle Elk - By this time of the year the heard bulls have moved away from the cows, they have become bachelor bulls. We know where to find these bulls and have excellent success on this hunt.
Semi Guided Hunt - This service will include all the comforts and conveniences of the full guided hunt but at half the price. I will provide all necessary camp gear and supplies as well as food, a cook and my knowledge of the area. Also, I will share with you information I gather from my scouting trips. The hunting aspect of this service will be up to you, spend the day hunting at your own speed in your own way and arrive in camp with a hot meal waiting.
New Mexico Primitive Weapons - The units I hunt in New Mexico are strictly primitive weapon hunts. Archery & Muzzleload only. There are no high powered rifle hunts in my units, these are very good units to harvest huge bulls because (There are no rifle hunts.) Also the gene pool in these units is very good for big bulls. These hunts are on a draw basis although there are some landowner tags available
Guaranteed Hunt - option would be to secure a land owner tag as a back up in case you didn't draw. With a $3,500 deposit we can assure you a tag via land owner tag. This guarantees you a tag and would only be used if you did not draw a public elk tag. The cost of a land owner tag for the season will be $3,750. My fee for the hunt via land owner tag is $3,750 so total price is $7,500. My normal price for the hunt is $4,000 if you draw the state tag, I am deducting $500 from my fee if you go with land owner tag to absorb some of the high cost of land owner tag in which case you would not be charged for it. We also have landowner deer and elk tags in Nevada. Call for availability.
PLEASE NOTE: The hunting prices do not include state hunting license and permit tag fee. There will be a 5.125% sales tax added for New Mexico Hunts.
